Who is the graphic designer and what does he/she do?
The graphic designer takes care of organizing and managing information material and translating it into a graphic sign. He/she can work both with a team and in total autonomy; coordinates the print production and controls the quality of the project’s production in its multimedia aspects; collaborates with photographers, illustrators, copywriters, printers, company directors, marketing department, coordinating the production of advertising material.
From the construction of the logo to the creation of the corporate identity design.
In this course of study we will develop graphic projects addressed in a unique way. We will start from the historical-graphic, iconographic and chromatic research for the development and construction of logotypes, lettering and layouts. We will study how to organize and manage resources, processing times and costs. We will explore printing production techniques in its various applications.
The course delivers a deep understanding and practice of the preparation phases of graphic projects, from design to print production.
A massive exercise for stimulating creativity is proposed during the course.
Goals of the course
The advanced course is aimed at those who want to deepen and explore the different aspects of graphic design starting from a good level of knowledge of graphics programs and photo editing (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign).
The content of the course is to build a graphic project that translates the entrepreneurial message in a clear and legible way, to stand out on the market with a clear, refined graphic product of quality.
This course is intended to train the student independently and making he/she able to manage and coordinate collaborators and resources to achieve excellent results.
Access Requirements
This program is advanced. This implies a knowledge of the subject by the students that allows fast evolutionary progress. The topics covered in the basic and intermediate levels of our graphics courses are to be considered already acquired at this point in the program. A personal laptop is necessary.
For to access intermediate and advanced courses of graphic design without having attended the basic course, we ask you to submit a portfolio of works along with a short interview for to assess your level.
